Meet Makeup Artist, Ann Marie Weinert who can help you with all of your hair and makeup needs!
Ann Marie is a Chicago native who’s been beautifying Chickagoans since 2002. She became inspired to enter the profession of makeup artistry when a photographer noticed her work and chose Ann Marie to as the makeup artist for his photography shoots. At that moment she realized she wanted to pursue this as her career.
When Ann Marie works with clients she makes sure that they feel, not only beautiful, but confident, in who they are. “I make people feel comfortable and I don’t judge them.” Using MAC makeup (her line of choice) she’ll make sure you’ll get a ‘look’ that will turn heads.
To keep up with the latest styles in hair and makeup, Ann Marie is continuously following trends online — imitating the latest looks celebrities are flaunting. Ann Marie notices that a lot of ChicKago women want soft loose curls or innocent braids styles (think Sarah Jessica Parker) and request a clean makeup look with smokey eyes for added drama.
Advice she gives to individuals going on a job interview? ”Be a minimalist”, Ann Marie explains that, “Makeup can be a barrier for the interview process. You want to especially take it easy on the lipstick and eyeliner.”
Ann Marie offers a variety of services in multiple settings — from commercials and photo shoots to special events and weddings — she even conducts makeup classes to teach you how to replicate that professional look.
Soon she will be starting a new business by joining forces with fellow makeup artists, friend, and Chickagoan Ashley Vest. Ashley Vest also works with a variety of clients — primarily focusing on print work and corporate CEOs. Ashley loves exploring new makeup lines, which gives her versatility in her creative space.
Both Ann Marie and Ashley are excited to work together and showcase their creativity by offering makeup classes, bridal services and beautifying women one Chickagoan at a time!
